Job Description
Main Function Within Department:
Ensure regular preventive maintenance to maintain the service life of all electrical equipment, including the TTC (Traveling Tower Crane), EOC (electrical Overhead Crane), lathe machine, band saw, radial drilling, and pipe end facing machines.
Trouble shoot/diagnose equipment faults and come up qwith solutions to prevent production downtime in case of equipment failure.
Adhere to eletrical equipment safety standards (for example, Lock-out Tag-out - LOTO) before starting work on electrical system.
Responsibilities & Duties (Includes but not limited do)
Plan and carry out schedule inspections on electrical equipment, including servicing and repairs.
Monitor equipment performance by tracking relevant performance metrics.
Clearly communicate technical findings, issues, and recommendation to supervisors.
Follow safety standards while working on electrical systems.
Diagnose and repair faults to return equipment to normal working condition.
Use electrical schematics diagrams as guide while trouble shooting.
Required Qualification
HND / BSc or it equivalent. Additional certificattions will be an added advantage.
Must have worked with systems that utilise Programmable Logic Control (PLC) and Computer Numerical Control (CNC)
30 to 40 yeras old, Male
Skills & Knowledge:
Good knowledge of Programmable Logic Control (PLC) and Computer Numerical Control (CNC).
Sound electrical and electronics knowledge.
Sound knowledge of electrical safety practices.
Physical stamina and confidence for height work.
