Duties And Responsibilities
Responding promptly to medical emergencies and providing pre-hospital emergency care to patients.
Assessing patients' conditions and determining appropriate emergency interventions within the scope of practice.
Administering basic and advanced life support procedures as required.
Stabilizing and preparing patients for referral to health facilities.
Ensuring Cleanliness of the ambulances
Performing any other duties as may be assigned by the authorized officer
Requirements for Appointment
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education ( KSCE)
Certificate in Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Emergency Medical Services (EMS), paramedicine or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Possess basic Life Support (BLS) and advanced Cardiac Life Support(ACLS) certificate from a recognized institution.
Demonstrate professional competence and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
