Job Summary


We seeks to engage a highly competent and experienced Energy Manager.


Responsibilities


Responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring strategies to optimize energy usage, reduce operational costs, and drive sustainability across all our facilities.
Lead our transition to cleaner energy while ensuring uninterrupted power supply for critical operations and events.
Conduct comprehensive energy audits and analyze consumption patterns across OOPL facilities.
Develop and implement energy conservation and cost-reduction initiatives to achieve measurable savings.
Oversee the operation and maintenance of generators, HVAC systems, chillers, and renewable energy installations.
Manage and lead solar/inverter projects and manage relationships with utility providers including IBEDC
Ensure compliance with national energy regulations, NESREA guidelines, and ISO 50001 standards
Prepare monthly energy performance reports and budget forecasts data for Management.
Train staff on energy efficiency practices and develop SOPs for energy management


Requirements


B.Eng in Electrical, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering. Professional certification
COREN registration mandatory. CEM - Certified Energy Manager is a strong advantage
Minimum of 7 years relevant experience in energy management, preferably in large organisation
Sound knowledge of Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission codes and energy efficiency laws.
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with proficiency in Excel and energy monitoring tools
Excellent project management and vendor negotiation skills
Ability to work under pressure during major events and resolve power-related issues promptly.
High level of integrity, innovation, and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
