Duties and Responsibilities
This is the entry and training grade into this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a designated supervisor.
Duties and responsibilities entail:
Collecting and collating data relating to roads infrastructure assets arid road works;
Participating in inspections of road projects:
Taking part in conducting site investigation:
Taking part in locating suitable materials for roads works:
Preparing and maintaining daily inspection reports;
Taking part in materials testing and quality control, and
Preparing daily inspection reports.
Requirements for Appointment
Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Civil Engineering, Highway Engineering. or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution:
Proficiency in computer proficiency; and
Registered by Kenya Engineering Technology Registration (KETRB)as a Candidate Engineering Technician.
