Job Summary
The English Conversation and Music Teacher is responsible for teaching spoken English and music to students, helping them develop communication skills, confidence, creativity, and an appreciation for music. The teacher delivers engaging lessons that promote active participation, language fluency, and musical expression.
Key Responsibilities
English Conversation Teaching
Plan and deliver interactive English conversation lessons
Improve students' speaking, listening, pronunciation, and vocabulary skills
Encourage confidence and fluency through discussions, role-play, and activities
Adapt lessons to suit different age groups and proficiency levels
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
Music Teaching
Teach basic to advanced music skills, including singing and/or instruments
Introduce music theory, rhythm, and listening skills
Prepare students for performances, presentations, or school events
Foster creativity and self-expression through music
Maintain music instruments and classroom materials
General Responsibilities
Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Manage classroom behavior effectively
Collaborate with other teachers and staff
Communicate student progress with parents or guardians when required
Follow school policies and curriculum guidelines
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in English, Music, Education, or a related field (preferred)
Teaching certification or relevant training (an advantage)
Strong spoken English skills
Musical proficiency in voice and/or one or more instruments
