Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary | Theatre

A vacancy exists for an Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary Theatre based at Life Bay View Hospital, reporting to the RN Lettie Swanepoel, Theatre Unit Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the surgical team to perform surgical procedures and to ensure that the patient receive optimal care in accordance with the company and hospital strategic objectives. Critical Outputs Ensuring accurate charging by managing theater clocking time Ensuring consignment stock, equipment and prosthetic is charged according to policy Managing stock by participating in regular stock taking and controlling of the consignment stock in accordance with the hospital (local) policy Managing usage and care of Equipment Ensuring the use of personal protective clothing and complying with ISO requirements Ensuring the disposal of medical waste to effectively control infection Adhering to sterility principles Maintain a healthy relationship with external stakeholders by reporting and escalating unresolved issues to the unit manager Requirements Qualification as an Enrolled Auxiliary Nurse, registration with SANC Relevant experience to meet the critical outputs Computer proficiency would be a advantage Own transport essential Must be able to work flexible hours according to Hospital operation needs Competencies Problem-solving, analysis and judgement Resilience Engaging diversity Verbal & written communication and presentation Drive & energy Excellence orientation Ethical behavior Building relationships Customer responsiveness Organisational awareness Deadline:26th October,2026
