About the Role


The Enterprise Delivery Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering enterprise network projects involving transmission and connectivity solutions for enterprise customers.
The role ensures timely and quality implementation of microwave, fiber, IP, and last-mile connectivity solutions in line with approved designs, customer requirements, and project timelines.
The role will work closely with internal stakeholders, customers, and implementation partners to ensure successful project execution, network integration, testing, acceptance, and handover while maintaining Airtel's service delivery standards and operational excellence.

Responsibilities
Enterprise Network Project Delivery:


Manage end-to-end implementation of enterprise network projects involving microwave, fiber, DXX, IP, and last-mile connectivity solutions.
Execute project delivery activities in line with approved solution designs and customer requirements.
Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines and quality standards.


Transmission Network Implementation:


Coordinate deployment of transmission links through microwave and fiber technologies.
Support implementation of backbone and access transmission networks.
Oversee installation, integration, and commissioning activities across assigned projects.


Partner & Vendor Management:


Coordinate implementation partners to ensure timely and quality project execution.
Monitor partner adherence to SLAs, project standards, and implementation procedures.
Escalate delivery risks, quality concerns, and project bottlenecks promptly.


Project Planning & Resource Coordination:


Assess material and equipment availability for assigned projects.
Identify resource gaps and escalate shortages proactively.
Coordinate with internal teams and customers to ensure project readiness.


Site Readiness & Implementation Assurance:


Coordinate Requests for Implementation (RFI) and validate site readiness before deployment activities commence.
Conduct site visits as required to monitor project progress and quality of execution
Ensure compliance with installation and implementation standards


Testing, Commissioning & Handover:


Develop and implement commissioning and acceptance testing procedures.
Verify testing of transmission links, IP networks, fiber, and DXX services.
Ensure successful end-to-end testing and obtain customer sign-off before project closure.
Facilitate customer handover and integration into customer systems.


Technical Support & Problem Resolution:


Support troubleshooting activities during project implementation.
Work closely with partners and technical teams to resolve implementation challenges.
Escalate technical issues affecting delivery timelines or service quality.


Stakeholder Management:


Maintain effective engagement with customers, internal stakeholders, and implementation partners.
Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to relevant stakeholders.
Support customer satisfaction through proactive project management and communication.


Reporting & Governance:


Prepare and circulate daily, weekly, and project progress reports.
Maintain accurate implementation and project documentation.
Provide regular updates on project milestones, risks, and deliverables.


Qualifications
Educational Qualifications:


Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Relevant professional certifications in networking, telecommunications, or project management will be an added advantage


Relevant Experience & Functional / Technical Skills:


Minimum of 6 years' relevant experience.
Sound knowledge of transmission network technologies including microwave and fiber networks.
Hands-on experience in installation, integration, testing, commissioning, and operations of enterprise network solutions.
Strong understanding of IP networking, LAN, WAN, routing, switching, and network protocols.
Knowledge of MPLS, DCN networks, aggregators, routers, switches, and related transmission technologies.
Good understanding of bandwidth planning, capacity management, and last-mile connectivity technologies.
Ability to troubleshoot complex network implementation and integration issues.
Knowledge of local geography and field deployment requirements.
Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and project reporting tools
