Qualifications and experience required:
A National Diploma in Environmental Health.
Registration as an Environmental Health Practitioner with the Health Professional Council of South Africa.
A valid Code B driver's licence.
Two years' relevant work experience.
Job purpose:
Performing activities associated with increasing public awareness and understanding of environmental and development issues, such as individual rights and responsibilities, through providing information for the purpose of enhancing decision-making and to assist with the planning of sustainable development through conducting appropriate educational courses, seminars, workshops and presentations based on applicable environmental and conservation legislation.
As part of the selection process, candidates may be tested on any requirement, skill or competency, which will include pre-employment screening, medical examination, security vetting and psychometric assessment.
