Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Environmental Scientist to join our team in Lagos.
This is a full-time hybrid role, combining office-based and remote work flexibility.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will:
Conduct fieldwork, including site assessments and environmental data collection
Analyse environmental samples and interpret findings
Carry out Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA)
Prepare detailed technical reports
Provide environmental management consultancy
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure regulatory compliance and project success.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, or a related field
Experience with environmental regulations and compliance is an added advantage.
Strong proficiency in fieldwork and environmental data collection
Knowledge of wetlands and ecological systems
Solid foundation in Environmental Science
Experience conducting EIAs and preparing reports
Background in environmental consulting
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and within a hybrid team structure.
