Key Responsibilities
Manage the full bid and tender lifecycle from ITB/RFQ/RFP receipt to submission, clarification, negotiation, and award handover.
Review tender documents to identify scope, commercial, contractual, and compliance requirements, including risks and key issues.
Coordinate inputs from Engineering, Procurement, Finance, HSE, QA/QC, Legal, and Project teams.
Prepare BOQs, pricing schedules, rate build ups, and tender templates using historical data and market benchmarks.
Validate pricing summaries for accuracy, scope coverage, and commercial consistency.
Lead internal bid reviews and commercial strategy discussions.
Compile and submit final technical and commercial bids in line with client instructions.
Support post submission clarifications, negotiations, and handover to project teams.
Provide commercial support during execution, including valuations, variations, and final accounts.
Drive continuous improvement of tendering processes and estimating tools.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree or HND in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Relevant professional certification (NIQS, COREN, PMI, AACE, CIPS, or similar) is an advantage.
8 - 10 years' experience in estimating, bidding, or commercial management within EPC or project based environments.
Proven experience handling complex tenders under tight deadlines.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of EPC tendering and commercial processes.
Excellent cost evaluation, risk identification, and coordination skills.
High attention to detail with strong organizational ability.
Proficiency in MS Excel and Word; bid portal experience is an advantage.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
