Our client, Living on the Edge, exists to help pastors lead thriving, disciple-making churches. Their mission is to shape the hearts of pastors so they can lead healthy, multiplying congregations that transform their communities. They are seeking to hire an organized, proactive and spiritually grounded Executive Assistant to support the Africa Director. This role provides comprehensive administrative and operational support, ensuring effective coordination of meetings, communication, projects and travel. The position also serves as a key liaison between the Africa office and the global leadership team of Living on the Edge (LOTE).


Key Responsibilities


Manage the Africa Director's calendar, meetings, travel, and communication.
Provide administrative and operational support for ministry programs and partnerships.
Coordinate with partners and stakeholders across Africa to ensure smooth communication and follow-up.
Support the rollout of training programs and ministry events.
Assist in donor engagement with ministries, corporations, and individuals.
Coordinate translation and design of ministry materials for various language groups.
Manage the Africa team's social media and digital platforms.
Maintain documentation, reporting, and compliance within ministry operations.


Required Specification:


A deep, active faith in Jesus Christ and alignment with LOTE's mission and values.
Bachelor's degree required.
Proven experience in executive or administrative support, preferably in ministry or nonprofit work.
Proficiency in Mac OS, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and digital media tools.
Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
High emotional intelligence, able to handle relationships and communication with grace and wisdom.
Christ-like humility and servant leadership — leading by example and putting others first.
Integrity and discretion in handling confidential matters.
Adaptability to work effectively across diverse cultures and in dynamic ministry contexts.
Dependability, initiative, and sound judgment, guided by biblical principles.
Willingness and ability to travel extensively within Africa and internationally.
