We are a fast-growing international company expanding its presence in East Africa. We are looking for a reliable, proactive, persistent, and culturally adaptable professional who will serve as a key connection between our head office and local operations in Kenya.

This role is ideal for someone who can combine strong discipline and execution with the ability to navigate local realities, build relationships, and solve practical issues on the ground.

Position Summary

The Executive Assistant / Company Representative will support management in both business and operational matters in Kenya. The role includes administrative coordination, translation and communication support, market research, local representation, and follow-up on tasks involving employees, contractors, partners, and authorities.

The successful candidate must be able to work in a dynamic environment, respond quickly, handle multiple priorities, and take initiative in resolving issues independently.


Key Responsibilities


Represent the company in meetings, negotiations, and local business interactions
Accompany management during visits and meetings, providing interpretation and communication support in Russian, English, and Swahili
Handle administrative and organizational matters, including support with documentation, registrations, permits, contractor search, and office or warehouse arrangements
Conduct market intelligence, collect business information, identify potential partners, and assist with checking local counterparties
Provide operational support to management, including logistics, visit coordination, and execution of business and personal assignments
Monitor the implementation of tasks by local staff, contractors, and service providers
Act as a reliable local point of contact for the company in Kenya


Requirements



Bachelor's degree or higher

Graduates of Russian universities are strongly preferred, as we value familiarity with our business culture, communication style, and work ethic
Fluent Russian is required
Excellent command of English and Swahili is required
Strong problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills
Ability to take initiative and resolve issues in a practical and persistent manner
Willingness to personally follow up on matters with government offices, service providers, and other local stakeholders when necessary
Good understanding of how administrative and business processes work in Kenya
Valid driver's license and access to a car will be an advantage
Willingness to travel actively within Nairobi and other regions when required
High level of honesty, responsiveness, stress tolerance, and ability to work under pressure in a multitasking environment
