Key Responsibilities
Supervise and assign duties to housekeeping staff, ensuring adherence to cleanliness standards.
Coordinate daily room assignments, floor keys, and work schedules.
Maintain effective communication with the Front Office and other departments.
Oversee cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, carpets, lobbies, restrooms, hallways, and elevators.
Monitor and manage housekeeping supplies, linen stock, and equipment.
Investigate and resolve housekeeping concerns, taking corrective action where needed.
Train, coach, and support staff while enforcing hotel SOPs.
Ensure guest rooms are properly secured and key control procedures are followed.
Handle guest complaints with professionalism and implement service recovery measures.
Prepare housekeeping budgets, requisitions, and reports.
Liaise with vendors such as pest control and laundry service providers.
Uphold high standards in guest rooms, linens, uniforms, laundry, and public areas.
Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles.
Strong eye for detail and commitment to quality.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments.
Experience with VIP services and international guest needs is an advantage.
Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, inventory control, and cost management.
Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in the same position.
