Role Summary
To lead and expand our client footprint across East African markets by driving export sales growth, establishing strong business partnerships, and maximizing revenue opportunities within the food and beverage sector.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic export sales plans aligned with the company's growth objectives.
Identify and acquire new customers across East African markets.
Strengthen relationships with existing distributors, partners, and key accounts to ensure consistent sales performance.
Conduct regular market visits to assess opportunities, monitor competitor activity, and enhance brand presence.
Lead market entry strategies and channel expansion initiatives in target countries.
Coordinate with internal teams on pricing, logistics, and production planning to meet export demand efficiently.
Monitor and analyze export sales data to track performance, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with export regulations, documentation, and trade requirements in all markets.
Mentor and guide the export sales team to deliver on growth targets and customer satisfaction objectives.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (mandatory).
MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
Minimum 10 years of experience in sales within the food & beverage industry, with at least 5 years in export management or regional sales leadership.
Proven success in expanding sales within East African markets (e.g., Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, DRC, South Sudan, Ethiopia).
Strong understanding of regional trade dynamics, distribution networks, and cross-border operations.
