Job Description


We are seeking an experienced and result-driven Assembly Supervisor to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising assembly operations for products including coolers, food flasks, thermoware products, and other plastic/consumer products, ensuring efficient production, high-quality output, proper manpower utilization, and compliance with company standards.


Key Responsibilities


Supervise and coordinate daily activities within the Assembly Department.
Plan and allocate manpower effectively across assembly lines and workstations.
Ensure products are assembled correctly according to approved specifications and procedures.
Monitor production targets, output, productivity, and work-in-progress.
Conduct regular quality checks and ensure defective products are identified and properly handled.
Ensure proper use and handling of assembly tools, equipment, components, and materials.
Train, guide, and motivate assembly operators and production assistants.
Maintain discipline, punctuality, cleanliness, and good work practices within the department.
Identify production bottlenecks and implement practical solutions to improve efficiency.
Ensure compliance with SOPs, quality standards, health and safety requirements, and company policies.
Maintain accurate production and manpower records and submit daily/shift reports.
Coordinate effectively with Production, Quality Control, Maintenance, Stores, and other relevant departments.
Monitor material usage and minimize wastage, rework, and product damage.
Ensure proper housekeeping and workplace organization within the assembly area.
Escalate machine, material, quality, or operational issues promptly to management.


Requirements


OND, HND, B.Sc./B.Tech in Engineering, Production Management, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
Must have 3 - 5 years of relevant supervisory experience in an assembly, manufacturing, or production environment.
Previous experience in plastic manufacturing, thermoware, cooler, food flask, or related consumer-product assembly will be a strong advantage.
Must have proven experience supervising production workers and meeting daily production targets.
Good understanding of assembly processes, quality control, production documentation, and workplace safety.
Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and team-management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
Must be physically fit and willing to work in a factory environment.
Candidates with hands-on experience in cooler, food flask, plastic product, or thermoware assembly operations are highly encouraged to apply.
