Tasks
Provide technical expertise on digital accessibility and assistive technology to higher education institutions, EdTech providers, and digital economy partners.
Support partners to integrate accessibility standards across e-learning platforms, recruitment systems, and digital tools.
Design and deliver training, workshops, and coaching on digital accessibility for diverse stakeholders.
Support and guide digital accessibility audits and implementation of Disability Inclusion Action Plans (DIAPs).
Advise on the selection and use of assistive technologies, prioritising locally appropriate solutions.
Develop and share tools, resources, and learning materials on digital accessibility and assistive technology.
Contribute to Communities of Practice, learning events, and proposal development in collaboration with country teams and thematic experts.
Requirements
University degree in ICT, Software Engineering, Digital Technologies, or a related field.
Additional training or certification in Digital Accessibility and/or Assistive Technology.
Minimum 5 years' professional experience in digital accessibility, inclusive education programming, or related fields.
Practical experience with accessible digital platforms and training adults in professional settings.
Strong understanding of barriers faced by persons with disabilities, through professional and/or lived experience.
Experience working with NGOs, higher education institutions, or digital economy actors is an asset.
Fluency in English; French is an advantage.
