Responsibilities
Fabrication Duties
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and workorders
Cut, shape, and assemble metal parts using tools such as grinders, cutters, and welding equipment
Perform welding (MIG/TIG/Arc) as required
Measure and mark materials for accurate fabrication
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications
Machine Operation
Operate machines such as CNC machines, lathes, milling machines, presses, or cutting machines
Set up machines and adjust settings for optimal performance • Monitor machine operations to ensure efficiency and quality • Load and unload materials into machines
Maintenance & Safety
Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of machines
Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition
Follow workplace safety standards and use PPE at all times
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
Possession of a Diploma or certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Fabrication, or a related technical field.
Proven professional experience in metal fabrication and industrial machine operation.
Comprehensive knowledge of various welding techniques and the use of specialized machine tools.
Strong ability to accurately read and interpret complex engineering and technical drawings.
Excellent physical stamina and manual dexterity to handle demanding workshop tasks.
Thorough understanding of safety standards and protocols within a manufacturing environment.
