Role Description
The Facilities Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos. The role involves overseeing building operations, maintaining facilities, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, and managing budgets related to facility maintenance. The Facilities Manager will also coordinate vendor services, inspect facilities for issues, and liaise with company leadership to meet operational needs.
Qualifications
Strong facility management and operations experience, with the ability to oversee maintenance, repairs, and vendor contracts
Technical skills. Electrical & Mechanical
Knowledge of safety protocols, regulatory compliance, and building systems
Proficiency in budgeting, cost management, and resource allocation
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members, vendors, and stakeholders
Leadership experience and the ability to manage teams effectively
A Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
Familiarity with facility management software and tools is a plus
