Responsibilities
Maintain, repair, and service hospital mechanical, electrical, and technical systems
Ensure optimal functioning of HVAC systems, generators, water treatment, and plumbing systems
Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and fault diagnosis of hospital facilities and equipment
Respond promptly to technical breakdowns and emergency maintenance issues
Support installation, commissioning, and testing of new medical and non-medical equipment
Liaise with external vendors and service providers for specialized repairs and servicing
Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service reports, and equipment records
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards within the hospital
Support power management, backup systems, and uninterrupted service delivery
Monitor energy usage and recommend efficiency improvements
Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to minimize downtime and disruption.
Requirements
Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
3 - 7 years' experience in hospital, healthcare, or facility engineering (preferred)
Strong mechanical, electrical, and technical troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of medical equipment maintenance is an advantage
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong safety awareness and compliance mindset.
