About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Facility Manager to oversee the day-to-day management, maintenance, and safety of our facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all company premises, equipment, and infrastructure are well maintained, safe, and fully operational while delivering a conducive environment for staff and customers.

Key Responsibilities


Manage the daily operations and maintenance of all company facilities.
Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
Supervise facility support staff, technicians, cleaners, and external contractors.
Ensure all electrical, plumbing, HVAC, generators, and other building systems function efficiently.
Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety risks.
Coordinate repairs, renovations, and facility improvement projects.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and statutory regulations.
Manage facility budgets and monitor maintenance-related expenses.
Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors and service providers.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, assets, warranties, and service contracts.
Develop emergency response and business continuity procedures.
Ensure optimal utilization of company assets and facilities.


Requirements


Bachelor\'s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Estate Management, Building Technology, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 2 - 4 years\' proven experience in facility or property management.
Strong knowledge of building maintenance, health and safety standards, and facility operations.
Experience managing vendors, contractors, and maintenance teams.
Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with facility management software is an added advantage.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
