Job Summary


The Facility Officer is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, safety, and efficient operation of the organization's facilities.
The role ensures that buildings, equipment, and services are well maintained and compliant with health, safety, and regulatory standards.


Key Responsibilities


Monitor and maintain building infrastructure, utilities, and facilities equipment
Coordinate routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance activities
Supervise external vendors, contractors, and service providers
Ensure cleanliness, security, and safety of the facility at all times
Respond promptly to facility-related issues, breakdowns, or emergencies
Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and service contracts
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Assist in space management, office setup, and facility improvements
Support budget control by monitoring facility-related expenses
Report facility conditions and recommend improvements to management.


Requirements & Qualifications


OND / HND / B.Sc in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Technology, or a related field
1 - 3 years of relevant experience in facility or building management
Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance
Understanding of health and safety regulations
Good communication and coordination skills
Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
