Job Description
The Farm Auxiliary Nurse / First Aid Officer is responsible for providing first aid and basic healthcare support to farm workers, promoting workplace safety, and responding to minor medical incidents within the farm settlement.
The role ensures that health and safety standards are maintained and that workers receive timely care during emergencies or routine health-related situations.
In line with the farm's operational model, the role may also support general farm operations and worker welfare coordination, including participation in post-harvest or assigned farm support duties when required.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first aid treatment to farm workers
Maintain medical supplies and first aid kits
Monitor health and safety conditions on the farm
Record health incidents and treatments
Support worker welfare and safety awareness
Participate in farm support or post-harvest activities as assigned
Requirements
Certificate in Nursing, Community Health, or First Aid
Experience in emergency or basic medical care
Ability to respond calmly to emergencies
Willingness to support farm operations when required
Monitor health and safety conditions on the farm
Record health incidents and treatments administered
Support emergency response and referral to medical facilities
Educate workers on basic health, hygiene, and safety practices
Good record-keeping and communication skills
Willingness to work in a rural farm environment
