The ideal candidate would be responsible for:
The servicing, repairs and maintenance of all farm equipment.
Attending to breakdowns.
Coordinating tasks for the farm's maintenance team.
Managing strict bio-security protocols.
Managing and control of Health and Safety requirements and laws within the Maintenance department.
Implementing and maintaining 20 Keys.
Maintenance planning and assist with projects.
Team supervision (manage a team, scheduling and provide training)
Facility upkeep.
Problem solving to minimize disruptions to the farming operations.
Inventory management.
Compliance, inspections and record keeping.
Budget management.
Installation of ventilation controllers.
The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
Trade tested Electrician with Wireman's license.
Mechanical experience will be an advantage.
Minimum of 5 years post qualification experience.
Computer literate - MS Office
Passionate, self-motivated and performance driven.
A team player with the ability to manage staff.
Must be pro-active and be able to work accurately and independently.
Be prepared to work outside of normal working hours.
Must have a valid driver's license and own reliable transport.
Must be prepared to work standby and attend to call outs after hours and weekends.
