Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee all farm operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and operational KPIs are consistently achieved.
Manage the expansion of farm operations, including land development, infrastructure projects, labor planning, and operational readiness while ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Supervise and develop field teams, setting performance targets, monitoring productivity, and conducting regular performance reviews.
Drive operational efficiency by identifying bottlenecks, implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs), analyzing performance data, and introducing process improvements.
Manage operational budgets, procurement, inventory, equipment maintenance, and logistics to ensure efficient use of resources and cost control.
Build and maintain positive relationships with local communities, land partners, and other stakeholders.
Prepare and present accurate operational reports, providing performance insights, recommendations, and corrective actions to support business objectives.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Agricultural Engineering, Farm Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years' experience managing large-scale farm operations, plantations, agri-processing facilities, or similar agricultural environments.
Demonstrated experience leading large multidisciplinary field teams, managing operational performance, and driving productivity improvements.
Strong operational planning, budgeting, procurement, logistics, and resource management skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data-driven decision-making.
Willingness to be based full-time in Sindo, Homa Bay.
