Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily farm operations across crop and/or livestock production.
Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and budgets.
Manage farm labor, including recruitment, training, supervision, and performance management.
Ensure efficient utilization of inputs such as seeds, feeds, fertilizers, chemicals, and equipment.
Enforce biosecurity, health, safety, and environmental standards.
Monitor crop and livestock performance, yields, and quality.
Implement pest, disease, and risk management strategies.
Oversee maintenance of farm machinery, equipment, and infrastructure.
Track production costs and implement cost control measures.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and sustainability standards.
Prepare operational reports and provide data-driven recommendations to management.
Coordinate with suppliers, agronomists, veterinarians, and marketing teams.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Animal Science, Crop Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial farm management or large-scale agricultural operations.
Strong knowledge of modern farming practices, production planning, and farm economics.
Proven leadership and team management experience.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and biosecurity standards.
Proficiency in farm management systems and Microsoft Office.
