Farm Supervisor (2IC) at CFW Fans

Job Description


We are seeking a reliable, hands on Farm Supervisor (2IC) to support the day to day operations of Bakoorjakkalsdraai Farm. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership ability, practical farming knowledge, and a proactive approach to getting the job done.
As the second in charge, you will work closely with management to ensure smooth operations, supervise staff, and maintain high standards across the farm.


Key Responsibilities


Supervise and coordinate general workers, including giving clear instructions and monitoring daily tasks
Provide regular progress updates and reports to management
Maintain overall cleanliness and neatness of the farm
Perform general gardening duties
Carry out tree removal and vegetation control
Prepare soil through digging and ploughing using a tractor
Conduct basic maintenance (e.g., repairing pipes and fences)
Assist with operation and maintenance of water pumps
Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and in good working order


Minimum Requirements


Proven experience in general farm work
Valid driver's licence (essential - tractor operation required)
Strong leadership and supervisory skills
Good time management and organisational ability
Willingness to work overtime when required
Physically fit and capable of hands-on work
Basic mechanical or maintenance knowledge
Basic computer skills (advantageous)


Working Hours


Monday to Thursday: 08h00 - 17h00
Friday: 08h00 - 15h00
Overtime may be required based on operational needs
