Why do we need you ?
Product merchandising - ensure products are displayed in-line with display guidelines in accordance with Saint-Gobain store standards and inline with store protocol and guidelines
Space negotiations - Increase and maintain primary display space as well as negotiate secondary display space for promotional displays which can contribute to the increase of sell-out of product.
Displays - maintain displays in line with merchandising standards, erect modular displays and place POS (point of sale) elements in store to promote Saint-Gobain products inline with merchandising guidelines where and when required.
Promotions - pro-actively identify new opportunities product promotions to drive sell-out;
Training - offer technical support and product training to retail staff who will be selling Saint Gobain products on a regular basis on existing and potential new products.
Market Intelligence and ad-hoc research - provide information on consumer and/or competitor behavior in retail outlet in terms of new products, price, promotion, activation or any other activity impacting on sales, product expansion and in-store activity
Is this job for you ?
This role requires an individual with Matric and Tertiary degree in Marketing/Construction and Architectural will be an added advantage with a minimum of 1 year in sales or merchandising experience. The ideal candidate must have a valid driver's licence as the role requires traveling. Ability to interact with customers and stakeholders within retail environment as well as internal environment. Your Good communication & presentations skills will ensure success in this role.

To implement and drive activities that will promote sell-in and sell-out of Saint-Gobain products and implement merchandising practices in selected retail outlets through stocking, displaying and promoting Saint Gobain products as specified by the company.
