JOB SUMMARY
Our client in the packaging and labels industry is looking for a field sales representative who cancreate new business opportunities, manage and grow current customer accounts, and provide customized packaging and labeling solutions while closely collaborating with internal teams to guarantee exceptional service delivery and long-term customer satisfaction within a designated territory.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In the packaging and labels sector, identify, target and actively seek out new sales prospects.
Make contact with current and potential clients to demonstrate products, describe product features and request orders.
Gain insight into market trends by identifying potential clients through market research.
Establish and maintain a strong pool of clients.
Develop and deliver sales strategies, ideas and presentations that are compelling and appropriate for the client's needs.
Achieve daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly targets.
Build and preserve enduring connections with clients, understand their needs and offer continuing support.
Maintain precise records of consigned goods and liaise with the finance department and stores as needed.
Adhere to all relevant company laws, rules, licenses and authorizations.
Communicate with dispatch and customer service regularly to ensure that the client receives the goods on schedule.
Develop and distribute dashboards and sales reports on a regular basis to the sales team and senior management.
Make use of sales technologies and tools to improve the sales process.
Work together with the sales manager to create and carry out successful sales tactics.
QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
5 years' experience in sales; preferably in the packaging and labels industry.
Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
Adaptability and great ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in computer applications and knowledge of sales reporting tools.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
