Your role


As a PTS Field Service Engineer, your mission is to Carry out Service and maintenance of Atlascopco PT equipment ( Generators, Compressors, Dewatering and Drainage pumps) to achieve highest equipment availability and customer satisfaction. Installing, maintaining, and synchronizing generator systems to meet operational demands. Committed to minimizing downtime through proactive maintenance, precise synchronization, and adherence to safety and quality standards. You will report to the Business Line Manager, PTS.


You will


Install, commission, and test diesel generators and associated electrical systems, compressors and Pumps.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on generators, control panels, compressors and pumps plus auxiliary equipment.
Inspect machine components alternators, AVR systems, control modules, compressor elements, engines and protection systems.
Synchronize multiple generators and/or connect generators to the grid safely and effectively.
Monitor synchronization parameters such as voltage, frequency, phase sequence, and phase angle.
Operate and troubleshoot synchronization panels, auto-synchronizers, and load-sharing systems.
Ensure load balancing between multiple generators to optimize performance and fuel efficiency.
Diagnose and repair faults in compressors, pumps and generator electrical and control systems.
Conduct risk assessments before performing maintenance or synchronization tasks.
Observe all Safety , Health Environment and quality requirements in your day to day activities.
Report all incidents to your supervisor and to TIA.

You have 3 - 4 years of experience, working with industrial generators and synchronization systems.
Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Experience in power plants, data centers, or large industrial facilities.
At least 3 years experience in generator and/or compressor service.
Strong understanding of generator operation and control systems.
Stong understanding of synchronization principles (voltage, frequency, phase matching).
Experience with synchronization panels, PLCs, and control systems.
Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.
Problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Valid driving license.
