Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (Finance/Accounting) or Business Administration (Accounting option) from a recognized institution.
Certified Public Accountant - CPA (K) or its equivalent.
Membership with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) in good standing.
At least three (3) years of relevant work experience.
Proficiency in financial software and advanced MS Excel.
Knowledge of public sector financial reporting and the PFM Act 2012.
Valid Certificate of Good Conduct and compliance with Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya (2010).
Key Responsibilities
Preparation of the annual financial budget.
Maintenance of accurate financial records and reconciliation of accounts.
Preparation of bank reconciliations and trial balances.
Preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports in line with IPSAS (Accrual Basis).
Management of payroll and statutory deductions (PAYE, NSSF, SHA, HELB).
Ensuring compliance with Government financial regulations.
