Finance Professional (Equity Researcher / Model Designer)

We are seeking a Finance Professional based in South Africa with a strong background in equity research, financial modeling, and valuation analysis. The ideal candidate will support our investment and strategic decisions by developing robust financial models, analyzing market data, and generating actionable insights—all while working remotely.

• Equity Research: Conduct in-depth research on companies, industries, and markets to inform investment decisions.
• Financial Modeling: Develop, maintain, and refine financial models (including forecasting, valuation, and sensitivity analyses).
• Valuation Analysis: Perform business valuations using DCF, comparable company, and precedent transaction methods.
• Reporting & Presentations: Prepare clear, concise reports and presentations to summarize findings, recommendations, and key metrics.
• Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate potential risks or opportunities that may affect financial performance or valuations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Strategy, Operations, Executive Leadership) to provide data-driven insights.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA) is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel (advanced modeling), financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet), and data visualization tools.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills, able to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and thoroughness in financial analysis and reporting.
