Key Responsibilities:


Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all vehicles in the fleet.
Monitor vehicle condition and ensure timely servicing and repairs.
Coordinate with external vendors, mechanics, and service providers for maintenance work.
Conduct regular vehicle inspections to identify faults and ensure roadworthiness.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance history, repairs, and costs.
Track and analyze fleet performance metrics (downtime, repair frequency, cost efficiency).
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, licensing, and statutory requirements.
Manage and control spare parts inventory and workshop tools.
Investigate and report on vehicle breakdowns and incidents, recommending corrective actions.
Support cost optimization initiatives by reducing maintenance expenses and improving vehicle lifespan.
Work closely with operations teams to ensure fleet availability aligns with delivery schedules.


Qualifications & Requirements:


Bachelor's degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field
2 - 5 years' experience in fleet or vehicle maintenance (preferably in logistics or transport industry)
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair processes
Experience managing third-party service providers and workshops
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and fleet management systems
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
