Salary: ÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂæ250,000 Gross Monthly
Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of the company\'s fleet of vehicles.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure maximum vehicle availability.
Monitor vehicle servicing, repairs, inspections, licensing, and insurance renewals.
Track vehicle usage, fuel consumption, mileage, and maintenance costs.
Supervise and manage fleet drivers, ensuring adherence to company policies and road safety regulations.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and vehicle breakdowns, and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements relating to fleet operations.
Maintain accurate fleet records, including maintenance history, registration, insurance, and fuel logs.
Negotiate with vendors and service providers to obtain cost-effective maintenance and repair services.
Monitor fleet performance using GPS tracking and fleet management systems where applicable.
Prepare periodic reports on fleet performance, operational costs, and maintenance activities.
Recommend strategies for improving fleet efficiency and reducing operational expenses.
Ensure company vehicles are clean, roadworthy, and professionally presented at all times.
Requirements
Bachelor\'s degree or HND in Transport Management, Logistics, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 - 5 years of proven experience in fleet management or transportation operations.
Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, fleet administration, and transport regulations.
Experience supervising drivers and managing fleet-related documentation.
Good understanding of vehicle diagnostics and preventive maintenance practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Experience using fleet management software or GPS tracking systems is an added advantage.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Valid driver\'s licence with good driving experience is an added advantage.
