Role Summary


We are seeking a diligent Fleet Officer to manage and optimize our vehicle fleet supporting production, distribution, and field operations.
The Fleet Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day management, maintenance tracking, and compliance oversight of the Company's vehicle fleet, ensuring vehicles are roadworthy, properly utilized, and operated in line with Company policy.


Key Responsibilities


Maintain an up-to-date register of all Company vehicles, including documentation, insurance, and licensing status
Schedule and track routine vehicle maintenance, servicing, and repairs
Monitor fuel consumption, mileage, and vehicle usage logs across routes
Ensure drivers comply with the Company's Fleet Vehicle Use Policy and relevant traffic regulations
Coordinate vehicle allocation for Van Sales Rep, Sales/Merchandizing, and farm operations
Investigate and report vehicle incidents, accidents, or policy breaches
Liaise with vendors, mechanics, and insurance providers on vehicle-related matters
Maintain accurate fleet cost and maintenance records for Management reporting
Support driver recruitment, onboarding, and periodic performance checks


Requirements


HND/BSc in Transport Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum of 3 years' experience in fleet, logistics, or transport management (FMCG/food production industry an advantage)
Sound knowledge of vehicle maintenance scheduling and fleet documentation
Valid driver's license; strong understanding of Nigerian road traffic regulations
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and record-keeping tools
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to travelas required.
