Main Function
The Florist is responsible for designing, arranging, and maintaining fresh floral displays across the hotel's lobby, public areas, guest rooms, and event spaces, enhancing the property's luxury ambiance.
Role Responsibilities
Floral Arrangement & Design:
Design and create fresh floral arrangements for the lobby, reception, restaurants, and public areas.
Prepare bespoke floral arrangements for VIP guests, special occasions, and events.
Refresh and maintain existing arrangements to ensure flowers remain fresh and presentable. Event & Public Area Décor
Coordinate with F&B and Events teams on floral requirements for banquets, weddings, and functions.
Set up and dismantle floral décor for events as scheduled. Inventory Management
Source, order, and manage inventory of flowers, plants, and floral supplies.
Monitor stock levels and minimize wastage of perishable floral materials.
Maintain floral equipment and storage areas in clean, working condition. Coordination
Liaise with the Executive Housekeeper on public area floral standards and budgets.
Coordinate with local vendors and suppliers for quality and cost-effective floral sourcing.
Qualifications and Requirements Education and Certifications
SSCE/OND; certification or apprenticeship in floristry is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a florist, preferably within a hotel, events, or hospitality setting.
