Desired Qualifications:-
Diploma in Food and Beverage Production, Food and Beverage Management, Hospitality Management or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
Served satisfactorily in the position of Food and Beverage Technologist III or its equivalent for a minimum period of Three (3) years.
Key responsibilities:-
Assist in planning, organizing, and conducting practical training sessions in food production, food service, and beverage operations.
Prepare training kitchens, restaurants, laboratories, and beverage production areas for practical lessons.
Demonstrate standard food preparation, cooking, baking, and beverage production techniques to students.
Supervise students during practical training to ensure adherence to approved procedures, food safety, and hygiene standards.
Maintain food production laboratories, training kitchens, restaurants, and related facilities in a clean, safe, and functional condition.
Prepare, issue, and account for ingredients, consumables, equipment, and teaching materials required for practical lessons.
Ensure proper storage, handling, and preservation of food items and beverages used during training.
Inspect and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and food processing machinery, and report faults requiring repair.
Participate in curriculum implementation by supporting lecturers during practical instruction and demonstrations.
Assist in developing practical manuals, recipes, standard operating procedures, and laboratory guidelines.
