Job Summary
The teacher will teach students the principles of nutrition, food science, meal planning, and practical cooking skills.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver both theoretical and practical lessons in Food & Nutrition.
Organize and supervise practical cooking sessions.
Teach students about healthy eating, food safety, and hygiene.
Prepare students for practical and written examinations.
Maintain inventory of kitchen equipment and food supplies.
Ensure safety standards are met during practical sessions.
Qualifications & Skills
B.Ed, B.Sc Degree in Food Science/Nutrition/Home Economics, or a related field.
2+ years proven experience in Food and Nutrition, or Home Economics.
Practical experience in catering or food preparation is an added advantage.
Good organizational and supervisory skills.
Passion for teaching healthy living.
