Job Description
We are in need of a Food Scientist who plays a vital role in the food industry by researching, developing, and improving food products and processes.
Responsibilities
Conduct research and experiments to develop new food products, improve existing products, or enhance production processes.
Perform quality control testing to ensure food products meet safety standards, nutritional specifications, and taste requirements.
Stay updated with industry trends, scientific advancements, and regulatory changes related to food science and technology.
Optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
Write reports, research papers, and technical documentation to communicate findings, recommendations, and product specifications
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision in laboratory work and quality control testing.
Qualifications
B.Sc / HND in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
Experience in food regulations, such as FDA (Food and Drug Administration) guidelines, is preferred.
Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and conducting scientific experiments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
