Summary
The Food Assistant Administrator supports the management by assisting with inventory control, coordinating deliveries, maintaining records and ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
Responsibilities and Duties:
To assist with on job training so that all staff are motivated to improve on performance
Reporting any faults or defects to the supervisor on duty, paying particular attention to safety and health hazards
Maintain accurate administrative records, reports, and filing systems
Capture and monitor stock, orders, invoices, and delivery notes
Ensure food safety, hygiene, and compliance documentation is up to date
Support HR administration, including attendance, leave, and training records
Assist with financial reporting, cost control, and data capturing
Liaise with kitchen staff, suppliers, and management to support daily operations
Coordinate internal and external training and maintain training registers
Assist with audit preparation and respond to audit findings
Requirements
Certificate / Diploma Administration qualifications
Grade 12

Food service operations and kitchen workflow
Inventory management and stock control
Menu planning and food preparation processes
Food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations
Supply chain coordination and vendor management
Record-keeping, reporting, and basic administrative tasks using computer systems

Proficiency in computer literacy
