Reporting to the Construction Project Manager, the Foreman coordinates labour, materials, plant and subcontractors to deliver works safely, on programme, within budget and to the specified quality and infection-control standards required for healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities

Enforce Taison Group HSE policies and the project-specific Safety Plan; conduct daily toolbox talks and pre-task briefings.
In hospital environments, strictly enforce infection prevention and control (IPC) measures, dust containment, ICRA protocols and segregation of works from live clinical areas.
Ensure correct use of PPE, scaffolding, hot-work permits, working-at-height controls and lockout/tagout procedures.
Report incidents, near-misses and unsafe conditions immediately to the Construction Project Manager and HSE Officer.

Materials, Plant & Tools Management

Lead, mentor and discipline the site workforce, fostering a culture of safety, quality and accountability.
Verify daily attendance, output and timesheets for direct labour and subcontractor crews; submit to the Project Manager and HR for processing.
Monitor subcontractor performance against scope, programme and quality benchmarks; escalate non-conformances.

Reporting, Documentation & Client Interface

Prepare and submit accurate Daily Site Reports covering manpower, activities executed, materials received, plant on site, weather, delays and HSE matters.
