Functional / Automation Tester (Intermediate, Specialist, and Consultant) at GVA Partners

Duties and Responsibilities


Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, APIs, and deployment processes
Understanding of scalability, reliability, and testing standards
Experience designing and executing automated and manual test scripts
Understanding of defect management and quality assurance practices
Experience validating systems against functional and non-functional requirements
Ability to maintain automation documentation and test reports
Experience working within testing governance frameworks
Ability to follow secure testing and automation practices
Understanding of auditability and testing controls
Ability to support multiple testing initiatives and environments
Ability to quickly onboard into new applications and technologies
Working effectively within multi‑disciplinary teams (product, engineering, QA, business)
Working under defined timelines and adapting to changing priorities and demand


Qualifications and Experience required


Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Design, Business, or equivalent).
Postgraduate degree or relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
7 - 15+ years of relevant professional experience, depending on role level (Junior, Intermediate, Specialist, or Consultant).
Must have completed NYSC
Experience working in enterprise-scale digital, IT, or technology environments
Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery (Scrum / Kanban), and cross‑functional collaboration
Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and delivery‑focused mindset.
