Duties and Responsibilities
Develop, implement and monitor gender responsive policies, action plans and strategies within the county
Ensure the participation of marginalised groups such as youth, people with disability across the county.
Collecting data on Gender mainstreaming, socio-economic empowerment, Female Genital Mutilation and Sexual and Gender Based Violence programmes and projects;
Handling logistics relating to administration of training programmes on gender mainstreaming, social economic empowerment, Female Genital Mutilation and Sexual and Gender Based Violence; and
Coordinate and support Gender Based Violence prevention programmes including establishing protection mechanisms and awareness campaigns.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
Bachelor's degree in any of the following disciplines: Gender Studies, Gender and Development, Sociology, Anthropology, Counselling and Psychology or any other relevant Social Science from a recognised institution; and
Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.
