Job Description


A premier hospitality brand in Lekki / Ikate, Lagos, is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead its operations.
This is a senior leadership role with full profit-and-loss (P&L) responsibility, requiring a strategic thinker, an operational expert, and a brand ambassador.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who can drive profitability, uphold impeccable 5-star service standards, masterfully market the brand, and inspire a high-performing team.


Detailed Role & Responsibilities
Based on the responsibilities, the candidate should possess:


Proven Experience: Extensive experience as a General Manager or senior hotel manager in a 5-star or luxury hotel environment.
Business Acumen: Strong financial skills with a proven track record in P&L management, budgeting, and driving profitability.
Marketing Savvy: A modern understanding of marketing, including digital, social media, and brand positioning strategies.
Operational Excellence: A hands-on leader who can optimize operations and ensure flawless service execution.
Leadership: An inspirational and ethical leader who can develop staff and build a positive, high-energy team culture.
Networking Skills: A natural ambassador, comfortable and effective in networking with HNIs, corporate leaders, and expatriates.
Tech Proficiency: Experience with hotel ERP systems (like Hotelplus) and a commitment to process-driven management.
Personal Attributes: Impeccable presentation, high integrity, discretion, and a passion for 5-star service.


Requisite Qualifications / Experience


B.Sc / BA in hotel management or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in hotel management, minimum of 3 years at the General Management level in a 5-star hotel establishment.
