We are seeking an accomplished, strategic and results-oriented Human Resources leader to drive our people strategy and build a high-performing workforce that will support the Airport\'s long-term vision.
The Opportunity
The General Manager, Human Resources will provide strategic leadership for all human capital and administrative functions, ensuring the Airport attracts, develops, engages and retains exceptional talent. Reporting to Executive Management, the role will champion organisational development, workforce planning, leadership development, performance management, employee relations, HR governance and organisational culture while ensuring compliance with applicable labour laws, aviation regulations and international best practices.
What You'll Do
Develop and implement the Airport\'s Human Capital Strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
Lead workforce planning, talent acquisition, succession planning and leadership development initiatives.
Drive organisational effectiveness, culture transformation and employee engagement.
Oversee performance management, compensation and benefits, learning and development, HR operations and industrial relations.
Provide strategic HR advisory support to Executive Management.
Ensure compliance with employment legislation, aviation regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards.
Build a high-performing, future-ready workforce capable of delivering operational excellence.
What We\'re Looking For
Bachelor\'s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, Law or a related discipline.
A Master\'s Degree (MBA, M.Sc. Human Resources, Industrial Relations or related field) is highly desirable.
Professional membership of CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, CIPD or an equivalent recognised HR professional body.
Minimum of 15 years\' progressive Human Resources experience, including at least 7 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven experience leading HR transformation, organisational development and change management initiatives.
Strong knowledge of Nigerian Labour Laws, HR best practices and corporate governance.
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication and strategic decision-making skills.
Experience in aviation, transportation, infrastructure, hospitality or other highly regulated industries will be an added advantage.
