Position Overview
We are seeking an accomplished General Manager, Operations & Business Development with a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in operations, business development, sales, and real estate investment.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader responsible for driving revenue growth, ensuring operational efficiency, and overseeing key business functions across the Group.
This role requires a dynamic professional with a proven ability to execute strategies that deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure the business development and sales targets of the Group are met monthly, driving consistent revenue performance across all business units.
Develop and implement operational strategies to drive new business development, sales inflow, and overall growth and profitability of the Group's business interests.
Coordinate and drive the implementation of strategies necessary to achieve operational efficiency across all business units in Lagos.
Develop and execute investment strategies to drive growth and maximize returns for all subsidiaries within the Group.
Manage the Company's fundraising activities and investor relations to syndicate capital for real estate investment projects.
Lead due diligence processes for potential investment opportunities and acquisitions.
Develop and implement risk management strategies to protect investor interests and safeguard company assets.
Oversee business development and sales activities, including marketing, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in real estate property sales.
Provide leadership and guidance to business development and operations staff to optimize performance and efficiency.
Improve existing operational policies and procedures to streamline processes and enhance productivity across the Group.
Provide oversight on construction projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Requirements
Master's degree (MBA or MSc) in Business Administration, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field from a recognized institution.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive, verifiable experience in operations, business development, and sales within the real estate properties and investment industry.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding business development and sales targets in a senior leadership capacity.
Demonstrated expertise in fundraising, investor relations, capital syndication, and leading due diligence processes for investment opportunities.
Strong understanding of the Nigerian real estate market, regulatory landscape, and industry standards.
Exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively.
Candidates must be based in Lagos with flexibility to work extended hours as required by business demands.
