Job purpose
To provide general supervision support, cleaning, maintenance, logistics, water-dosing and messenger service to sport and recreation (swimming pool) facilities in order to improve the quality of the facilities
Appointment requirements
Ability to perform duties
Basic literacy
Relevant experience in general pool and facility maintenance will be an added advantage
Must be able to swim (swimming ability will be assessed as part of the selection process, and candidates will be required to undergo a practical swimming assessment)
Physical fitness and health with no back problems
Must undergo a criminal record check and such a person shall allow their fingerprints to be taken by the Tshwane Metro Police Department at own cost

Physical health, fitness and a strong physique; willingness to accept responsibility; ability to implement and uphold routine; ability to pay attention to detail; good communication skills; good interpersonal skills; showing initiative; flexibility and adaptability; ability to work under pressure; being self-motivated; ability to work hard; punctual, responsible, accountable and reliable; having a basic understanding of pool maintenance

Perform general pool and facility maintenance and repair service
Provide general garden and cleaning services at the pool and facility
Provide general logistical support
Comply with policies and systems
