Job Description


The General Worker at the silo supports daily silo operations by assisting with material handling, cleaning, basic maintenance, and safety compliance. The role ensures smooth loading, unloading, storage, and movement of materials while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.


Requirements


Grade 12 or NQF4
Able to perform hard manual labour
Constantly adding value to the function of the job
Previous experience in industrial, agricultural, or construction environments is an advantage
Physically fit and able to perform manual labor
Willingness to work at heights and in confined spaces (with training)
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Strong awareness of safety rules and procedures


Duties and Responsibilities


Responsible for general tidiness
Cleaning duties
ADHOC duties as assigned from time to time
Assist customers/suppliers with loading and offloading of stock as required according to policies and procedures
General housekeeping of premises
