Job Summary
The GPS Control Room Manager is responsible for overseeing the 24/7 GPS monitoring operations, ensuring real-time tracking, incident response, data accuracy, and compliance with company security and transport requirements. The role ensures that all vehicles are monitored effectively, alerts are acted upon promptly, and reports are delivered to management as required
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Monitoring: Supervise the daily operations of the GPS control room, ensuring continuous 24/7 monitoring.
Team Management: Lead and manage GPS monitoring officers/operators during all shifts.
Incident Management: Investigate and document all GPS-related incidents or alerts.
System Management: Ensure the GPS tracking platform is functional and always updated.
Reporting & Data Management: Generate daily, weekly, and monthly GPS tracking reports (vehicle movement,
violations, alerts, fuel monitoring, etc.).
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Transport Management, Security Studies, IT, Logistics, or related fields.
5 - 10 years' experience in fleet monitoring, GPS systems, operations, or control-room supervision.
Experience managing teams in a 24/7 environment is an advantage.
Qualify candidate must be willing to - Travel to all AIG units to supervise GPS team, training & Audit. (25% travel).
