Graduate Operations Lead

About The Role

Manage the day-to-day operations of our farmer programmes. The Operations Lead is the primary point of contact between the company, its member farmers, and the local community.

Key Responsibilities

• Farmer Recruitment and Relationship Management: Serve as the face of the farmer programme in the community. Recruit, register, and onboard smallholder farmers. Build and maintain trusted relationships with farmers, community leaders, and local stakeholders.
• Input Distribution and Agronomic Monitoring: Coordinate the timely delivery of inputs to registered farmers. Monitor farming practices across enrolled farms to ensure adherence to recommended agronomic standards.
• Record-Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate, up-to-date farmer registers and activity logs. Submit weekly reports on programme progress, risks, and field observations. Use programme data tools for recruitment, monitoring, and reporting.
• Community Liaison: Engage regularly with village heads, community leaders, cooperative leaders, and local agricultural extension networks.
• Facilities and Logistics: Maintain the local hub office and any programme equipment.

Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
