Job Description
The Group Head of Organisation Design establishes and leads the strategic foundation for Human Capital and Career Architecture across the Group. The role is accountable for designing, governing, and embedding core Organisation Design disciplines including Job Design, Job Evaluation, Job Architecture, organisation and job data management, Position Management, Business Sizing, and largeÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂscale organisation transformation initiatives to ensure alignment with Group strategy.
This leader drives enterpriseÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂwide organisational effectiveness through expert stewardship of OD frameworks, provides thought leadership on organisational capability and structure, and delivers results through a highÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂperforming team of specialists.
Key Result Areas:
Internal Client Relationship Management
Manage relationships with strategic internal clients and act as a business partner to them, building high levels of professional credibility and mutual trust, and mobilising appropriate internal and/or external resources to support in delivering business strategy and plans.
Strategic Workforce Planning
Develop key strategic insights based on external and internal information sources and develop and analyze complex resourcing scenarios to enable the development of the strategic workforce plan.
Functional Strategy Formation
Lead the development and implementation of strategy for an important area of responsibility within a function, anticipating complex issues, challenges, and opportunities and ensuring integration with wider functional strategy.
Organizational Design
Provide specialist insights within a multidisciplinary team to evaluate the current-state organization, to develop and evaluate future-state organizational design propositions, and to clarify the costs and business benefits of change.
Organizational Capability Building
Evaluate the capabilities of staff within the department to identify gaps and prioritize development activities. Implement the organization's formal development framework within the area of responsibility. Coach and mentor others to support the development of the organization's talent pool.
Role Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in HR Management / Business (Degree)
Experience in Organisation wide OD methodology (advantageous)
Minimum of 8 years of demonstrated, effective OD experience
Demonstrated success in implementing transformation, strategic workforce planning, career planning and engagement strategies
Proven track record (at least 5 years) of managing multiple, complex Org designs successfully
Proven ability to work in a highly collaborative environment
